ISYS Roof Mount, Unirac’s groundbreaking flat roof solution, provided versatility and performance when mounting the sizable array consisting of 4,700 PV panels over 3.4-acres of roof. Unirac’s Commercial and Utility Group worked closely with Rosendin Electric to ensure a seamless installation that adhered to the project’s strict timeline and budgetary considerations. ISYS Roof Mount utilizes Unirac’s patented I-beam components that demonstrate superior strength to weight ratio to withstand the demanding wind conditions that occur at San Jose’s airport parking facility (particularly at a height of seven stories).
Albuquerque Academy’s 1.15 MW system is one of the largest solar arrays on a secondary school in the United States and supplies approximately one-quarter of the school’s annual electricity use. The ISYS Ground Mount’s repeatable process design was efficient, code compliant and supported by Unirac’s Commercial and Utility Group Support Team.
