Unirac Reaches Significant Milestone in PV Mounting Market
ALBUQUERQUE, NEW MEXICO, September 19, 2007 — Unirac has reached a significant milestone having shipped over 1 million linear feet of aluminum rail for photovoltaic (PV) mounting systems in the U.S., for the first 8 months of 2007. Unirac estimates that volume of rail would reach from San Francisco, CA to Reno, Nevada, reflecting the incredible demand Unirac has seen for its racking solutions.
Unirac leads the PV mounting market with industry-leading technology and a breadth of product solutions and services designed to meet the needs of any type of solar installation.
Since delivering its first PV mounting system in 1998, Unirac has experienced remarkable growth of its innovative and superior racking systems, which have been used for many prominent installations such as the Google Campus in Mountain View, California, the largest corporate solar installation in the U.S. to date. Unirac was also chosen for the solar installation at Universal Studios, in CA, where Unirac provided a custom designed solution that helped bring the project in on schedule, under very tight timelines.
