Duties and Responsibilities
- Concentrate on providing racking solutions for large installations throughout the North American solar market.
- Develop new opportunities as well as maintain and grow relationships with existing accounts
- Establish major revenue-generating business development opportunities for Unirac’s commercial and utility group
- Develop a pipeline of opportunities
- Establish a strong “win strategy” and capture plan for each targeted opportunity.
- Serve as the opportunity manager and own the RFP/bid process & content for targeted projects
- Work with various departments, both internally and externally, to coordinate the business process on large scale projects
- Coordinate visits with accounts to provide technical information and present demonstrations
- Negotiate on behalf of company to establish sales as well as commercial conditions - provide total customer solutions
- Establish and track against annual marketing and sales plans with reporting to management.
Skill Requirements
- Self-starter capable of managing opportunities all the way through the entire sales process
- Team-player with ability to motivate others to support winning of new opportunities
- Outstanding customer and partner relationship skills
- Strong proposal writing and presentation development skills and experience
- A good working knowledge of PV technology and Renewable Energy
- Requires a bachelor's degree and 7-10+ years sales experience
- Familiarity with a variety of the solar concepts, practices, and procedures
- Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
- Ability to work as part of a team and be willing to contribute to company growth
- Excellent Communication Skills – Written and Oral
Educational Requirements
- CRM Experience – Salesforce.com is a plus
- Engineering Degree is a plus
