Job Description:
A sales department position providing assistance to Training Manager by developing training material aimed at sales channel customers. This will include verbal and written materials intended for internal and external use on website, in webinars, and for onsite presentations.

Position authors the material at a level appropriate to the various audiences.

Position must be able to proof technical documents, such as installation manuals and technical data sheets.

The expectation is to already know solar racking market, or to be able to quickly learn it, and understand the structural/construction aspects in very short order.

This position relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. This position performs a variety of complicated tasks.

Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
Requirements:

Must be a professional and have clear and concise communication skills.

Must have the ability to maintain a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment.

Mechanical and mathematical aptitude and the ability to think in abstract is required, as well as good Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint skills.

Solar/renewable energy industry experience preferred.

Some travel may be required.

This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area, including training.

The ideal candidate for this position will be familiar with a variety of mechanical installation concepts, practices, and procedures, have an aptitude for mechanical relationships.
