Job Description:
A sales department position providing assistance to customers regarding technical questions related to construction-type installation solutions by preparing and delivering verbal and written (email) correspondences, fulfilling customer’s needs and ensuring customer satisfaction with a consistently positive approach.

Position trains others and authors training material.

Position must be able to write technically and proof technical documentation, such as installation manuals and specification sheets.

Position must be able to collect and present performance metrics.

This position utilizes telephone, email and/or fax.

Position documents, tracks and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution.

The expectation is to quickly learn the products, and develop skills to provide installation solutions advice.

This position relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

This position performs a variety of complicated tasks.

Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
Requirements:

Must be a clear and concise communicator.

Must have the ability to maintain a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment.

Mechanical and mathematical aptitude and the ability to think in abstract is required, as well as good Excel, Word, Outlook and Power Point skills.

Solar/renewable energy industry experience preferred.

Some travel may be required.

This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area, including customer service.

The ideal candidate for this position will be familiar with a variety of mechanical installation concepts, practices, and procedures, have an aptitude for mechanical relationships.

Good trigonometry skills are a definite plus.

Familiarity with manufacturing operations is also a definite plus.
